| This maker marked wares with a handpainted crown mark in Puce on earlier cups and in red on later ones. Normal sized bute cups have a simple loop handle with pointed attachments in two shapes, type 1 wide (over 10mm at top, see left), and type 2 thinner (~8mm at top, see right). Larger "breakfast" cups have a "dent" in the loop handle. Derby also made ring handles |
